Total Reward Model

Woodside's vision for its people is a high performance culture that attracts and retains the best people and supports them to reach their full potential.

We recognise that different things motivate you to perform and a "one size fits all" approach to reward and recognition is not always effective. To meet your different needs, our reward and recognition strategy incorporates a concept known as a Total Reward Model.

Our Total Reward Model has three elements:

Financial Rewards - providing you with competitive financial rewards linked to your achievement of performance objectives.

Job Rewards and Satisfaction - providing you with opportunities to undertake interesting and challenging work.

Career Satisfaction - encouraging and supporting you to take responsibility for your career development and achieve your career aspirations.

Financial Rewards

Woodside recognises that in order to attract, retain and motivate you we need to structure our remuneration at a level that is competitive within Australia, and for certain disciplines, internationally.

Woodside's Total Remuneration package typically consists of the following components: base salary, benefits and allowances, short-term incentive and long-time incentive. The long-term incentive applies to permanent employees only and is delivered in the form of the Woodside Employee Share Plan.

Depending on your job level, location, and in some cases your discipline, you will receive various allowances which are paid as cash to provide you with added flexibility in how you choose to structure your total remuneration package.

In addition, you will have the option of salary sacrificing part of your gross remuneration for items such as a motor vehicle, lap top computer or mobile phone.
